The Curtain Rises: AWCM Theatre Returns Back

Following its success, The Flavours of Integration is back!

This community theatre project brings to life the true stories of Afghan women—from classrooms where learning was forbidden to the streets of a new country where their pasts risk being erased.

It is a story of arrival and of profound loss—language, career, home—paired with the challenge of rebuilding life from scratch under the promise of the Canadian dream. Told by our own community members, The Flavours of Integration celebrates culture, resilience, and community spirit while asking: What does it take to begin again?
